Multi-Layer Structure
1. PTFE/Fibre mixture (0.01-0.03mm thickness) - Contact surface for rotating shaft that creates a solid lubricant film to coat and protect the shaft
2. Sintered bronze powder (0.20-0.35mm thickness) - Thermally fused copper powder layer that anchors the PTFE layer and conducts heat away from bearing surfaces
3. Low-carbon steel backing - Provides exceptional stability, load carrying capacity, and superior heat dissipation characteristics
